Description

Couldn´t resist... the images resulted good, so, why not a CH4 animation?

SCT 11", f/30, ASI224MC at - 10 deg C, Thorlabs 890 +- 9 nm filter

Each frame from derotated data, 1000 frames at 365 msec exposure, near ten minutes each.

Lots of details here. OvalBA leaving the disc, a very conspicuous south polar hood, with some irregularities in the transition zone. The "undulated" appearance of the NEB is interesting.

I´s surprised by the results, next time, better focus maybe? This far in the NIR the seeing is amazingly better, it looks.
